Demo accessibility statement
A clear route through every table and page.
This statement summarises the accessibility approach used for the fictional Linden Table portfolio website. A real client statement would require continued testing, ownership and a monitored contact route.
Fictional portfolio project

Important notice
This is demo placeholder content for a fictional restaurant portfolio website. It is not legal advice, does not describe a real business and must not be treated as a binding client policy or statement.
What the demonstration includes
The site uses semantic landmarks, one main heading per page, logical heading levels, descriptive link text, accessible form labels, image alt text, visible keyboard focus and a skip link. Navigation can be used from the keyboard, and the mobile menu closes with Escape while returning focus to its trigger.
Layouts are designed mobile first and adapt across phones, tablets, desktop screens and large displays. Text can reflow without requiring page-level horizontal scrolling.
Booking form behaviour
Required fields are visibly identified. Validation errors appear beside the relevant control and in a linked summary. Focus moves to the summary after an invalid submission and to the success message after a valid demonstration submission.
Colour, motion and media
The palette is designed for readable contrast, and focus uses a distinct fired-brick outline. Motion is limited to small transitions and is reduced when requested by the visitor device. Restaurant photography includes descriptive alternative text and supports the surrounding content without carrying essential information alone.
Known demonstration limitations
The restaurant contact details are fictional and are not monitored for accessibility feedback. Full assistive technology and user testing remain part of the final QA phase and would need repeating after any real client content or third-party service is introduced.
Before a real launch
A real statement should identify the responsible organisation, provide a monitored contact method, record the testing date and describe any unresolved barriers with a clear route for requesting information in another format.
